As I was watching 'Five Disasters Waiting to Happen' on BBC Climate Change, this image flashed in my mind. This Howies Art Think winner for 2007 by Norwegian photographer Pal Hermansen is a surreal masterpiece that tells us that it's not just the ice caps that are melting, lives are also fading away.
